Mr. TANHEANG obtained his Higher Diploma of Notary and his Master’s Degree in Notary Law from the University Jean Moulin Lyon 3 in France in 2006 and 2002 respectively.
In 2001, he completed his Master’s Degree in Private Law from the University Lumière Lyon 2 in France, his French Bachelor’s Degree in Private Law from the same university and his Cambodian Bachelor’s Degree in Public Law in 2000.
Mr. TANHEANG has served as interpreter and translator for the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC) since 2007 and as Adjunct Lecturer in Law at the Royal University of Law and Economics and University Jean Moulin Lyon 3 since 2006 and University of Puthisastra since 2010. In 2008, he was appointed as a Notary Public and Deputy Director of HBS Notary Public. In 2009, he was appointed by the Royal Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia as the Director of the Royal School for Notary of the Royal Academy for Judicial Professions (RAJP) under the auspices of the Council of Ministers. He is acting as Deputy Managing Director of HBS Notary Public.
Mr. TANHEANG is fluent in English, French and Khmer.
